Dr. Amy Hale is a clinical psychologist licensed in the states of Massachusetts (License # 10406) and Connecticut (License # 003506), committed to providing high quality, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and their families. Dr. Hale is an attending psychologist at Boston Children’s Hospital in the Division of Gastroenterology and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Psychology within the Division of Psychiatry. As part of her work at Boston Children’s she is Research & Training Lead in the Comfort Ability Program in the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Intercultural Studies from Houghton College, a Masters in Theological Studies from Regent College in Vancouver, BC, and a Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and Association for Contextual Behavioral Science and regularly presents at conferences and gives trainings on dissemination of evidence-based treatments for pediatric pain and gastrointestinal conditions.
